A tiny arcade game about a cat with one rule: she only knocks off what she is staring at. Tap that one and she swipes the rest of the shelf herself.

60 seconds. One shelf. A score, a streak, and a verdict at the end. One rule, no tutorial.

Controls: tap or click the object she is looking at.

Playtesting this for the jam? Tell me the first thing she knocked off, your score, and one moment that felt unfair. That is all I need.

Played it through. The red dashed box teaches the whole rule in about two seconds, no text needed, just the cat staring at one object and the box saying 'this one.' Cleanest tutorial in the jam. First thing I knocked off was the yellow drinking glass, score 30 with 38s left, verdict 'she did it herself.' Honest read: once the box clicks, the game is reaction speed and nothing else. The box is the whole game. Two ideas: let the streak change what she knocks off (a glass at first, the lamp at the end) so the shelf tells a story; and give one object that takes two taps or resists, so the rhythm breaks once. Nothing felt unfair. Good luck in the jam.
Played it. 18 knocked off, an 18x streak, in about five seconds, by tapping the dashed box the moment it appeared. So the loop works and it's snappy. The fiction is the best part. You don't knock anything off, you just point the cat at it, and "she did it herself" when you're slow is a great line. "She's judging you" as the final verdict is better. The thing I'd push on: the dashed red box does all the reading for you. The cat's gaze is decorative, so the actual skill is "tap the flashing rectangle," which is whack-a-mole with a highlighter. You built a real miss penalty (streak resets, "nope.") but I never triggered it once in 18 taps, because the box is unmissable. The cat is the whole idea and it isn't load-bearing yet. Try this: keep the box for the first few seconds as training, then drop it and let the pupils do the pointing. Same game, but now the player has to read the cat, the misses actually fire, and the fiction carries the mechanic instead of decorating it. I'm in the jam too (One Lamp, one room, one lamp, hold to live). Good luck.
